COMPETING AT
THE HIGHEST LEVEL

EAA Nebraska Quakes Select Softball - Competitive youth softball

The Nebraska Quakes softball program is designed for athletes who are ready to take their game to the next level. Focused on developing players with ambitions to compete at the highest levels, the Quakes program provides a structured environment that emphasizes advanced skill development, game strategy, and competitive excellence. Athletes receive top-quality coaching and the chance to challenge themselves through high-level practices, tournaments, and league play, all while continuing to build teamwork, discipline, and confidence on and off the field.

By competing against some of the best softball teams in the region, Quakes players gain invaluable experience that prepares them for high school and college-level play. The program not only pushes athletes to elevate their performance but also helps them grow as leaders and teammates. With a strong foundation built through the EAA Futures program, the Nebraska Quakes give driven players the opportunity to test their skills, reach new goals, and take pride in representing one of the region’s premier competitive softball programs.

DOES EAA OFFER RECREATIONAL SOFTBALL?

Yes we do! For athletes who are just starting out or want a fun, low-pressure introduction to softball, the Futures program is the perfect place to begin. Unlike the Nebraska Quakes Select program, which focuses on advanced competition and rigorous practice schedules, Futures emphasizes learning the fundamentals, building confidence, and enjoying the game with friends in a supportive, recreational environment. Practices and games are designed to be fun and engaging while helping players develop essential skills at their own pace.

Parents may consider the Futures program if their athlete is still growing their understanding of the game or prefers a less competitive schedule. With no tryouts, local play, and a focus on inclusion, Futures provides an ideal environment for children to develop a love for softball while building teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. It’s a great way for young athletes to gain experience and prepare for future opportunities, whether that eventually leads to Select softball or simply a lifelong enjoyment of the sport.
