The First Interstate SportsPlex in Waterloo, Nebraska, is a cornerstone of Elkhorn Athletic Association’s mission to expand access to youth sports through top-tier, modern facilities. Opened in 2023, Phase One of the complex features six full-size grass soccer fields, four baseball/softball diamonds, and a barrier-free adaptive field—creating an inclusive space where athletes of all abilities can play, grow, and compete. With parking for over 1,400 vehicles and room to host local and regional tournaments, the SportsPlex reflects EAA’s dedication to providing high-quality, safe environments for youth athletes to thrive both on and off the field.

As demand for youth sports continues to grow, so does our vision for the SportsPlex. Phase Two, now underway, includes plans for eight additional baseball/softball diamonds, new concessions, restroom facilities, storage, and infrastructure upgrades. But to bring this vision to life and ensure more kids have the chance to participate, we need your help.
