The Elkhorn Athletic Association is committed to providing youth sports opportunities that help children grow as athletes, leaders, and members of the community. Through programs that serve athletes of all ages and skill levels, EAA fosters confidence, teamwork, and perseverance while creating a safe and welcoming environment where every child can succeed.
Our First Interstate SportsPlex has already completed its first phase and is hosting local and regional baseball, softball, and soccer events, giving athletes access to high-quality fields and families a vibrant community gathering space. Funds raised now will support Phase 2 of the project, allowing us to expand the complex, accommodate even more teams, and continue bringing top-level sports experiences to the Elkhorn area.
At the same time, EAA is committed to making sports accessible to every child through our Sports for All initiative. REMOVING FINANCIAL BARRIERS TO YOUTH SPORTS
The Elkhorn Athletic Association’s Sports for All Scholarship is a need-based program designed to ensure that every child in our community has the opportunity to participate in youth sports—regardless of their financial circumstances. At EAA, we believe that every young athlete deserves the chance to grow, compete, and belong, no matter what challenges they face off the field. This scholarship is a reflection of our deep commitment to inclusion and our mission to provide positive, character-building experiences for all. By removing financial barriers, the Sports for All Scholarship helps level the playing field and shows that EAA truly cares about empowering every child through sport.
A SIGNATURE DESTINATION FOR OUTDOOR YOUTH ATHLETICS
The First Interstate Sportsplex has already transformed youth sports in West Omaha, providing soccer, baseball, and softball players with high-quality fields that enhance every game and practice. Families and athletes have felt the difference that well-designed, professional-grade facilities can make, setting a new standard for youth athletics in the area. With fundraising now underway for Phase 2, the Sportsplex will continue to grow and add new features to improve the experience for spectators and families. These enhancements will help make the complex an even more welcoming destination for the entire community while continuing to support the development of young athletes.
