Open to birth years 2017 and older, the Elkhorn Athletic Association’s Cross Country program offers young athletes an incredible opportunity to build endurance, strength, and confidence through the sport of running. Designed for runners of all abilities, our program focuses on teaching proper running techniques, pacing strategies, and mental toughness while keeping practices engaging and fun. Cross country challenges kids to push themselves individually while also experiencing the camaraderie of being part of a team. The sport promotes lifelong fitness habits, resilience, and a love for the outdoors, making it an ideal foundation for overall athletic development.
As part of EAA, our Cross Country program is backed by the same commitment to quality, organization, and community that drives all of our sports. Athletes benefit from experienced coaching, a supportive environment, and a well-structured program that emphasizes skill progression and sportsmanship. We take pride in helping every runner, whether they are competing for personal bests or just discovering the sport, reach their potential. With EAA’s dedication to excellence, families can trust that their child’s cross country experience will be safe, positive, and memorable.
