EAA Cheer’s Futures program is a sideline-focused introduction to cheerleading for athletes in kindergarten through 8th grade. It offers a fun, recreational environment where kids can learn the basics while building confidence and school spirit. Futures emphasizes age-appropriate skills such as motions, jumps, chants, and teamwork in a positive and encouraging setting. Squads are formed around neighborhoods and schools, giving athletes the opportunity to cheer alongside friends and classmates while creating an even stronger sense of community.
One of the best parts of Futures Cheer is its accessibility. With no tryouts or travel commitments, families can enjoy the convenience of local practices and performances while their kids stay active and engaged. The program creates a welcoming space where every athlete feels included, supported, and encouraged to grow at their own pace without the pressures of competitive cheer.
At its heart, Futures Cheer is about more than routines and chants. It is about building spirit, sportsmanship, and confidence in every athlete. For families looking for a recreational cheer experience that blends fundamentals with fun, friendships, and community, Futures is the perfect fit.

Teams are formed based on school/neighborhood and teammate/coach requests.
EAA strives to honor all teammate/coach requests; however, due to roster size limits, we are unable to guarantee all requests will be honored.
First, THANK YOU! Every youth sports program depends on the spirit and energy of volunteers. You will have an opportunity to indicate you are willing to volunteer as a head or assistant coach when you register your child. All volunteer coaches are required to successfully complete all EAA coaching requirements prior to receiving their team roster and coaching their team at practice and games- no exceptions.
