EAA Futures Baseball and co-ed T-Ball are designed to introduce young athletes to the game in a fun, supportive, and development-focused environment. Co-ed T-Ball is perfect for our youngest players, teaching the basic skills of hitting, throwing, and teamwork through fast-paced, engaging activities that spark a love for the game. As players progress, they move into the Futures Baseball program, where they continue to develop their fundamentals in a player-pitch format that emphasizes learning, confidence-building, and having fun with friends from their neighborhood and school community.
Unlike our competitive select baseball programs—which involve tryouts, travel tournaments, and advanced instruction—Futures Baseball and T-Ball focus on inclusion, development, and local play. There are no tryouts, and every child gets the chance to participate, learn, and grow at their own pace. These recreational programs are ideal for families seeking a balanced, community-based introduction to baseball before deciding whether to pursue more competitive opportunities in the future.

The Two Rivers Baseball League, managed by Elkhorn Athletic Association, is the largest youth baseball league in Eastern Nebraska. It offers a wide range of opportunities for young athletes at both the recreational and competitive levels. A key focus of the league is the Futures Recreational Baseball program, which provides divisions at 7U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U. Teams play between 10–16 regular-season games depending on age level, with each season featuring an All-Star Game and a season-ending tournament. Games follow modified USSSA rules to ensure age-appropriate competition and development.
For the youngest players, co-ed T-Ball (4U/5U) offers a low-pressure introduction to the sport, with games that focus on fun and fundamental skill development rather than scoring. These games are combined with team practices that help players build confidence and enjoy learning the basics of hitting, throwing, fielding, and running the bases. The emphasis is on creating a fun, inclusive atmosphere that fosters a love for baseball while encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship.
The Two Rivers Baseball League is a true community-driven effort, with participation from 14 area organizations across Eastern Nebraska. These include:
Arlington
Ashland
Bennington
Blair
Cedar Bluffs
DC West
Elkhorn
Fort Calhoun
Fremont
Fremont Rebels
Gretna
Suburban
Wahoo
Yutan
With nearly 1,800 games played each season and a championship tournament concluding the year, the Two Rivers Baseball League is a leading force in youth baseball.
